Baseline Training was founded by a cadre of battlefield-seasoned medical professionals who served at the tip of the spear within U.S. Air Force Special Operations Command. Our origins lie in the unforgiving environments of combat—where rapid decisions and skilled hands determined life or death. As members of elite Special Operations Surgical Teams (SOST), we treated casualties under fire, stabilized critical injuries in austere conditions, and executed damage control surgery in forward environments.
After years of service and thousands of trauma encounters, we recognized the need to pass on that hard-earned experience. What began as mentorship among peers has grown into a full-spectrum training program that prepares today’s providers to face tomorrow’s conflicts.

Tactical Surgical Readiness Course (TSRC)
- Our flagship 2.5–3 day program designed for military medical units, trauma teams, and tactical EMS personnel. This immersive course includes live or simulated casualty care, REBOA application, damage control surgery, and prolonged field care in high-stress, resource-limited environments.
Austere Trauma Response Module
- Focused instruction for providers deploying to remote or combat zones. Covers airway control, field sedation, vascular access, blood product management, and mass casualty response with minimal equipment.
REBOA & Damage Control Resuscitation Workshop
- Hands-on training in endovascular hemorrhage control, resuscitative strategies, and trauma leadership. Led by combat-experienced trauma surgeons.
Prolonged Field Care (PFC)
- Scenario-based training on managing critically injured patients for extended periods in non-permissive environments. Emphasizes operational decision-making, field triage, and logistics.
Tactical Anesthesia & Austere Pharmacology
- Safe, effective field anesthesia techniques, sedation protocols, and medication logistics for low-resource settings.
